About Aileen
Aileen is the founder of Pilates on the Green and was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She grew up as an athlete and always had a passion for sports. 10 years ago, she was introduced to the Pilates method and instantly fell in love.

In 2020, Aileen started her journey to become a Pilates Instructor.

Her love for athletics and sports have always stayed prevalent in her life and she constantly finds herself wanting to continue living a healthy and active lifestyle. She believes movement should be a celebration of your body and once you find activity you enjoy, it makes you never want to stop moving.
In 2022, she picked up playing golf and completely fell in love with the game. Within her first eight months of playing golf, she broke 100 and got her first birdie, along with many other accomplishments, without taking any golf lessons. She believes she was able to improve so quickly with golf because of her consistent self-practice and incorporating Pilates into her fitness routine.

She quickly realized how Pilates and athletics can truly blend together - and this is the essence of where Pilates on the Green was created.

About Pilates
Pilates is a system of exercises designed to improve physical strength, flexibility, posture, and enhance mental awareness.
It strengthens the center of the body, also known as the core (the trunk, shoulder girdles and pelvis). Core strength can improve hip rotation, range of motion in the shoulders and back stability leading to more powerful and accurate golf shots. It is also a full body exercise that works all muscles and is easy on the joints.
The end result is a flexible, symmetrically muscled body that is strengthened from the inside out.
